Michael Steinhardt, CLU, ChFC, AIF

Michael first entered the financial services industry in June of 1986. Following in the footsteps of his father, he chose to focus on insurance and launched a successful career at Berkshire Life. After almost 20 years helping clients to meet their insurance needs, Michael changed his focus with the aim of building a client-centric financial planning practice rooted in process. His experience, passion and demeanor are all positive attributes in helping clients forge their own path towards financial independence.

Michael holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the American University. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designations.

Michael and his wife Jennifer, have two children, Tyler and Gabrielle, and two dogs.


Barbara Owens
Director of Insurance

Barbara's role is a dual focus on the insurance division and wealth management site of our firm. She oversees the entire process of working with clients regarding their risk management. She also initiates the opening, servicing, and supporting of the wealth management site.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, her dedication and loyalty factor in to the success of long standing relationships. She has worked with many of the firms clients over two decades. Barbara also holds her Life and Health Insurance license.

Barbara enjoys spending time with her granddaughter Finley and also taking long walks on the beach and dancing.


Lisa (Disney) Hergenhan
Director of Investment Operations

Lisa's role with the firm is centered around investment operations, office management and client relations. She is responsible for onboarding clients as they come into the firm and assisting in supporting the overall client experience.

She has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Lisa earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Stevenson University.





Linda Tarnalicki
Retirement Plan Support Specialist

Linda joined the team in January 2018 to provide exclusive service and support to business retirement plans.  Her role includes client relations, overseeing the documentation process, account opening and the ongoing service of plan clients.  Linda manages the Retirement Plan Advisory Group (RPAG) platform to incorporate core practice areas including investment due diligence, plan performance, RFPs, benchmarking and fiduciary compliance.

Linda earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.  She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and teaches a variety of group fitness classes.  Linda enjoys fitness, travelling, the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

Sandy Patterson
Director of Group Benefits

Sandy is responsible for overseeing group health, dental and voluntary benefits of the firms clients. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, she offers our clients a focused approach to group benefits, hands-on support and detailed knowledge in this specialized field. Sandy operates her practice out of Hunt Valley. Her areas of focus include group medical, group life, group dental and HSAs.

Sandy is an active alumna for Bryn Mawr and also volunteers her time for other community services. Her interests include gardening and landscape design.
